Pre-requisites

Before proceeding with the installation, make sure you have:

• an active and verified Finmo account.
• the Shopify plugin enabled for your Finmo account.
• the relevant payment methods (e.g. card, local methods, etc) enabled for your Finmo Account

Once you have these prerequisites in place, follow the steps mentioned below to install the Finmo Payments app on your Shopify store.

Step 1: Install the App in Shopify

• Install the Finmo Payments app from the Shopify App Store. This can be found on the following URL: https://apps.shopify.com/finmo-payments

• On clicking "Install" in the App Store Page, you will be redirected to app installation page on your Shopify store, as shown below.

• Next, clicking on the Install CTA will redirect you to the Finmo authentication page where you will be required to enter your API keys.

Step 2: Link your Finmo Account

• On the Finmo authentication page (Step 1), enter your Shopify Access Key and Secret Key for both the Sandbox and Production environments.
  • These keys are available in your Finmo Dashboard under Settings → Plugins → Shopify.
• To access the Sandbox keys, first switch your dashboard to the Sandbox environment. You can do this through the Sandbox toggle located at the top left of the dashboard.
• When you open the API Key details modal, ensure that the status toggle is switched on. This has to be enabled for both your Production and Sandbox keys to work correctly.

• Now, copy these keys and enter them in the Finmo Authentication Page.

Step 3: Configure and Activate Payment Methods

• Upon successfully submitting the production and the sandbox keys, you will be redirected back to your Shopify store to configure and activate the payment methods.
• Here you, can activate the payment methods that you intend to offer to your customers during checkout & save the changes.

• You can modify the payment methods, you can find this section on your Shopify dashboard by navigating to Settings > Payments > Finmo Payments.

Testing Payments

To test any of the available payment methods, follow the steps mentioned below:

• Navigate to Settings > Payments > Finmo Payments.
• Toggle the test mode button. This will route all payment actions on your Shopify store to the sandbox environment on your Finmo account.
