Auto Sweep
Automate wallet transfers across or within organizations to maintain optimal balances.
Overview
Auto Sweep is a rule-based automation system that ensures optimal balance allocation between wallets. This may happen:
- Within the same organization
- Across different organizations (if hierarchy is enabled)
Auto Sweep minimizes manual intervention and ensures operational wallets are always sufficiently funded.
Key Features
Transfer Types
Type | Description | Ideal Use Case |
---|---|---|
FULL Transfer | Transfers entire available balance | End-of-day sweep, wallet consolidation |
FIXED Transfer | Transfers a fixed amount | Budget allocation, periodic transfers |
Direction
Transfers can occur:
- From Primary Organization Wallet → Paired Organization Wallet
- From Primary Organization Wallet → Paired Organization Wallet
This bidirectional logic enables wallet balancing and rebalancing.
Threshold Type | Logic | Purpose |
---|---|---|
Lesser Threshold | Trigger when the monitored wallet falls below a threshold | Auto top-up to maintain a minimum balance |
Greater Threshold | Trigger when the wallet exceeds a threshold | Auto transfers excess to avoid idle funds |
Monitor Wallet can be:
- Primary organization Wallet: Condition applies to the sender's balance
- Paired Organization Wallet: Condition applies to the receiver's balance
Integration with Multi-Org Hierarchy
When hierarchy is enabled, Auto Sweep can also run across wallets of linked organizations. This means:
- Wallets across multiple organizations within the hierarchy can send or receive funds based on defined rules.
- Still governed by access controls. Only users with required permissions can configure/view inter-org transfers.
