How can I reverse a payout made to an incorrect beneficiary?
If a payout is processed to an incorrect beneficiary, you can initiate a recall request. Payout recalls can be initiated either by you (the sender) or by the beneficiary, depending on the situation. These recalls are processed on a best-efforts basis and are not guaranteed, as they require the cooperation of intermediary and receiving banks, as well as the beneficiary’s consent. Given the involvement of multiple parties, the outcome and timing of a recall request may vary based on the internal policies and responsiveness of each institution involved.
