Overview

Send payments locally and globally through Finmo’s bank rail integrations. The PAYOUT infrastructure is designed to offer businesses fast, reliable disbursement options across multiple countries while maintaining complete visibility into the payout status and lifecycle.

Supported Countries

Finmo supports payouts across 30+ countries via local and cross-border payment methods. For a detailed list of supported payout rails and settlement timelines, refer to the Payout API docs.

PAYOUT Models

Model	Description
Payout Locally	Funds are sent and received within the same country and currency
Payout Globally	Funds are sent domestically and settled into a different country/currency (e.g., USD)
Wallet-Based Payouts	Payouts are made from a prefunded Finmo wallet balance

Payout Statuses

Detail the key status changes in a Payout transaction.

Status	Description
CREATED	Payout has been created but not yet processed
PENDING	Payout is being processed through the banking/payment network
COMPLETED	Funds have been successfully disbursed to the recipient
FAILED	Payout processing failed; failure reason available
CANCELLED	Payout was cancelled before being processed
PENDING_RETRY	Temporary failure occurred; payout will be retried automatically or manually

Information
In case of a failed payout, Finmo automatically initiates a reversal or refund to the business’s source wallet. If the network or bank does not support automatic reversals, the payout needs to be manually managed based on the failure reason provided.
