The Business Account Activation process is a key component of onboarding with Finmo. It ensures compliance, transparency, and secure treasury operations for your business. This process consists of four simple steps:

  1. Business Details
  2. Representative Details
  3. Merchant Service Agreement
  4. Verification & Submission

Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our compliance team. While your application is being processed, you can explore Finmo’s Sandbox Environment to familiarize yourself with the dashboard and available features.

Business Account Activation Steps

  1. Business Setup
    Provide detailed information about your business:
    1. Business Registration: Enter your legal business name, registered address, business type, and tax identification number (TIN or equivalent).
    2. Business Activities: Specify the countries your business operates in or sends/receives transactions from.
    3. Business Details: Share a short description of your operations and upload any mandatory licenses or certifications relevant to your industry.
  2. Representative Details
    Add information about individuals associated with your business:
    1. Authorized Representative: Provide details of the legal representative(s) authorized to act on behalf of the business. Upload a valid government-issued ID and proof of authority (e.g., board resolution or equivalent).
    2. Shareholders: Include names and ownership percentages of individuals or entities holding a significant stake in your business.
    3. Directors: List key company directors responsible for governance and operations.
  3. Merchant Service Agreement
    Review and digitally sign the Merchant Service Agreement (MSA). This agreement outlines your rights and responsibilities while using Finmo’s platform and services.
  4. Verify & Submit
    Review all entered information:
    1. Confirm the accuracy of your business and representative details. Also, make necessary edits if any inconsistencies are found
    2. Once you’ve reviewed and confirmed your application details, enter your mobile number to verify and submit your Business Account Activation.

This completes submission of Business Application from your end. If any additional documents or clarifications are needed, our team will reach out via your registered email.
