The Maker-Checker feature introduces an extra layer of authorization that enhances transaction security and oversight before a Payout action is executed. This dual-approval mechanism minimizes errors and reduces the risk of fraudulent activities, ensuring that every transaction undergoes two-layer scrutiny.

Roles

Maker: Initiates a Payout request.

Checker: Reviews the Payout request and can either approve or reject.

Users:

Admin: Can initiate and approve or reject a Payout request.

Use case: An admin can either be a maker that creates a payout request or only a checker for approvals.

Read-only: Only view a Payout request.

Use case: A read-only user can only view Payout requests at all times.

Access:

The Maker-Checker feature is accessible in two places:

1. Finmo Client Portal Dashboard
2. API

The Maker Checker feature can be accessible under the Payout section.

The feature will be enabled by the Operations team upon request.

The Maker Checker feature can be enabled for both local and GCA transactions.
